Elizabeth was the daughter of Humphrey and Isabella Armstrong. Humphrey was a coalminer and worked in the Blyth and Bebside area. Elizabeth was born in Horton in the second quarter of 1874. She married George Armstrong in Bellingham in the third quarter of 1899. They were living in 1 Cruddas Terrace in 1901 but moved within the next decade to 8 Percy St., possibly because they now had six children. Elizabeth died in Bellingham in 1917.
Clarifications required - was Armstrong both Elizabeth's maiden and married name?
