&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;Isabella was the daughter of James Burrell, a draper’s shop assistant and [[Burrell, Isabella Cook|Isabella Cook Burrell]]. She was born in Hexham, almost certainly when her parents were living at 1 St. Nicholas Road, Hexham. The family moved to Bellingham and were living in [[6 Percy Terrace]] when her father died on 26 April 1918. Isabella was a fifteen-year-old scholar when the 1921 Census was taken. She never married and in 1939 was living at home in [[6 Percy Terrace]] with her mother and brother although the Register now shows the head of house to be [[Clough, Sydney|Sydney Clough]]. Isabella’s occupation is given as unpaid domestic duties. With her brother she moved to 30 Westlands, Bellingham. Her brother died on 23 June 1962, leaving Isabella £794 1s. In the same year on 1 September, she won a book prize in the Newcastle Journal crossword competition. Her death was registered at the age of seventy-nine in Newcastle in 1985.&lt;br /&gt;
