<p><b>New page</b></p><div>Isabella Weightman (nee Russell) was the wife of [[Weightman, John Thomas|John Thomas Weightman]] and lived in [[3 Percy Terrace]] in 1939. There is meagre documentation for the years before she married John Thomas on 20 December 1902. Her parentage is unknown although it is probable that her mother was Barbara Russell and in subsequent years her birthplace is stated to be Pegswood. She was born on 5 November 1883 and christened on 19 December in a Primitive Methodist Chapel in the Ashington and Newbiggin Circuit. In 1901 a single girl, of roughly the correct age was a boarder (with two others) in the household of Mr and Mrs Thompson at 14 Milburn Avenue, Hirst, Ashington. This Isabella Russel has no recorded occupation. [[Weightman, John Thomas|John Thomas Weightman]] was a coal hewer and in 1911 and 1921 they were living at Chevington Colliery. Their family comprised Margaret Russell (b. About 1906), Mary Elliott (1908), John (1910), Isabella (1913), [[Weightman, Catherine|Catherine]] (1918) and Thomas (1920). Isabella’s death was recorded in Northumberland West in the first quarter of 1943 when she was 61.<br />
