No 10. Cowans

The Cowans lived in the end house where there was just room for very small vehicles like butcher Stanley Telfer’s van to turn around. Jake Cowan drove an ex-army wagon like Tommy Smith also for Hugh Thompson and also parked it alongside Tommy Smith adding to wrecking the drain down the drive to the road. Mother Kate Cowan ran the home and they had a daughter Jenny.
