In Collier's image the property was still a Post Office (you can just see Post Office) run by R W Huntington (emigrated 1920) and then briefly by Hilda Ingledow (died 1922). Miss Tweddle came shortly after this when the Post Office had moved to Lock Up Lane, and she, as a widow, ran the place as a Temperance Hotel and Cafe. An example of Collier changing the picture to suit new ownership. Not sure when she gave it up but sometime after 1932 when she advertised in the Bellingham Guide | |||

In Collier's image the property was still a Post Office (you can just see Post Office) run by R W Huntington (emigrated 1920) and then briefly by Hilda Ingledow (died 1922).
