Thomas Todd lived in Cruddas Terrace, Bellingham in 1881 (1 Cruddas Terrace) and 1891. He was one of the sons of William Todd and Mary Todd and had been born in Mainsforth, Durham in about 1875. In 1891 he was a post boy messenger. In 1901 he was apparently an agricultural labourer living in the house of John Herdman, a shepherd in Burnside, Bellingham. At this point the trail goes cold.
